The real test of any person is when he is facing some problems. The test is not how he deals with the problem but how he deals with others in the time of agony. Most of the people get panic and cannot control the situation while others handle such situations quite tranquilly. In the time of distress, we should not forget those who may suffer from it severely.
As we, along with the whole world are suffering from the pandemic of coronavirus. The whole world is facing this delinquent without any discrimination of caste, creed, and colour.
Like the whole world, the government of Pakistan has also announced lockdown for a few weeks to stay safe. The situation after lockdown is not the same for everyone. The people who can afford have stocked groceries and bought enough eatables to survive in the lockdown if it goes longer. But the less privileged people of our society are suffering from this havoc like none other. They do not have to fight with COVID19 only but also have to deal with hunger because they cannot stock the eatables for months as they earn a very meager amount of money. Daily wagers are living in havoc as they do not know how they will feed their children the next day. These less privileged people are seeing death standing in front of them in the shape of corona or hunger.
In this time of mayhem, there is a need to support those who are finding it difficult to cope with the basic needs of life. These are the people who do not beg for anything, stay silent and bear everything but never raise their hands to ask for anything. The privileged people of society need to help others. People are helping strangers during coronavirus pandemic.
As William Davies says in his poem "The Rain" how the leaves on the top transfer raindrops to those beneath,
"I hear leaves drinking rain
I hear rich leaves on top
Giving the poor beneath"
the same is the situation with people, privileged people giving to those beneath and helping them in this critical situation.
So many institutes and Welfare organizations are working effortlessly to provide ration to the people who might need it. A complete network of people is working for them to provide ration to them in time. The government of Pakistan has also announced big-budgeted fund for the help of less privileged people of the country so that they do not face any other problem during this pandemic. The government is tracking people to move around in this time of distress.
Everyone in the country should take this duty on his own to find such people and help them so that the circle of life does not stop and at least people do not die out of hunger. This is the time we show how brave we are as a nation. Do not leave anyone alone in this time of turmoil.
Keep praying to Almighty to get us out of this pandemic and have mercy upon everyone as this pandemic is not the problem of any one country but the whole human race.
Help others and be supportive of others so that Allah supports and helps you.
