SAIF-UL-MALUK LAKE

Located near Naran, at the northern end of Kaghan Valley, Saif-ul-Maluk Lake is spread over 2.5 square kilometers with an altitude of more than 10,000 feet.  A very famous tale is connected with this lake. The locals are of the view that the Prince of Persia fell in love with a fairy princess at this very lake.

The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, and the melting glaciers from these peaks continue to feed the lake, which is the source of the Kunhar River. This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Pakistan.  

ATTABAD LAKE

This lake is located in Hunza Valley, GB. The lake is also known as Gojal LAKE. It is the largest lake of Gilgit- Baltistan attracts many tourists both national and international.

RUSH LAKE

It is Pakistans' highest lake with more than 15,000 feet above sea level. The rush lake is located in Nagar Valley of Gilgit- Baltistan and is regarded as the 25th highest lake in the world. You can witness panoramic views from the top of the surrounding mountain peaks of Spantik or Golden Peak, Malubiting or Malubiting West, Ultar Sar, Phuparash Peak, and Miar Peak.

SATPARA LAKE

Satpara Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Pakistan. This lake is a great water reservoir for Satpara Dam supplying water to Skardu Valley. One should pay a visit for getting closer to nature.

SHEOSAR LAKE

One who visits a Desoi National Park will be able to enjoy the scenic view of Sheosar Lake as well. It is located within the Desoi Plateau which is termed the 2nd highest plateau in the world. The best time to visit the park and the lake is in spring when wildflowers bloom all over the meadows.

ANSOO LAKE

This lake is known for its unique name as it is actually shaped like a teardrop.  Ansoo Lake is located in the Mansehra District of Kaghan Valley. Many people also associate the lake with the shape of the human eye. The lake was actually discovered in 1993 when a low-flying aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force spotted the lake and its unique shape. While there is no place to stay near the lake, people rely on camping in the frigid and bitter winds.

SWAIK LAKE

This lake is located in the province of Punjab. Kallar Kahar Tehsil, Chakwal District. This lake is a perfect picnic spot with a family but it is hidden from the main roads and is less visited by tourists. A 45-minute hike from the M2 motorway can take you to this secret oasis, swaik lake.
