Sanitation  Sewerage System in Sargodha

Sanitation and sewerage system of Sargodha is collapsing. The sewerage system of the city’s main areas is facing a halt. Sanitation area is also ruined that a little rain can damage the whole system and the rain water reminds of the rain ever after days.

The Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Abdullah Nayyar has advised the PHED, Public Health Engineering Department to start working upon the new waste disposal system of the city as the poor drainage system is so dangerous for the health and safety of the people.

The Deputy Commissioner gave these directions during his visit to sewerage pumping station in the city. The PHED and metropolitan officials also accompanied him. The DC also checked the ongoing work on the waste disposal system, a project of worth 380 billion rupees.

In this visit, the DC also inspected the sludge carrier and disposal stations at Gil Wala Chowk, Sherazi Town, and Ali Park. He also issued orders to disconnect illegal connections for waste disposal. Moreover, he advises the concerned authorities to take action against those responsible for creating problem in this matter.

The Deputy Commissioner also investigated and took notice of irrigators who are trying to damage the sewerage system. He ordered to take some serious action against these people, as per the laws.
