Polling for 37 seats of the Senate is commenced under the authority of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). 78 candidates are going to try their fate for the election happening today. Their percentage is as follow

After the Supreme Court decision, the casting process is taken place through secret ballots. The team of the Election Commission already arrived in the Parliament House in the early morning. Polling started at 9 am and will continue till 5 pm.

Candidates participating in the senate elections from KPK are• Syed Shibli Faraz, Sania Nishtar, and Liaqat Khan Tarakai (PTI)• Maulana Attaur Rehman, Tariq Khattak and Ranjeet Singh (JUI-F)• Taj Mohammad Afridi (BAP) • Farhatullah Babar. (PPP)
The PTI has no candidate for the Senate from Balochistan. Candidates from other parties include Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) founder Saeed Ahmed Hashmi and Sajid Tareen of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M).
