These places are best for tourism, but sometimes low temperature play havoc in these areas. In the winter there is added problem of weather closing the roads and communication. Just after the first snow fall of winter, it becomes difficult to access these areas. Get fully prepared and updated with weather conditions once planning a tour.

For budgeted travelers, one should stick with cheap hotels or stay with the locals to enjoy meetings new cultures and communities. Locals of Northern Areas are pretty hospitable so accommodation wouldn’t be a great problem for you. Trout fish is considered one of the expensive fishes in Pakistan, which gives a mouth watering taste. Northern Areas offer this in a bulk. So you can enjoy eating as much as you can at low price.
