E-Pay App

Paying your tax is no more a hectic task. You do not have to stand in queue for hours to pay your taxes as the Government of Punjab has introduced a novel app to assist you to pay the taxes.

The E-Pay app launched in October 2019 by the Punjab Government with the collaboration of the Punjab Finance Department and Information Technology Department. E-pay is an IOS and Android friendly app that means you can use it on your phones easily. App has a web version too so that you may access the app through your laptops and computers.

This app is a solution for the Government and people as well to collect and submit the tax revenue.

Languages

As the app is generated for the convenience of the people, the Government of Punjab has made the app function in two languages;

Urdu English

Using the app to pay the taxes will not be hard for those who are not good at English because of app functions in Urdu too. The Government of Punjab cares for its people and that is why the app is being introduced in two languages.

How Does The App Work?

There are a few easy steps that will help you learn how to use the app

Download the app Sign up or create your account An OTP will be sent to you Choose the right department to pay the tax Add the details that are being asked Personal information regarding tax Generate Challan A 17 digit payment slip will be generated that is your challan number Pay your taxes or dues in the nearby ATM or through Mobile Banking

The tax via e-pay can be submitted in three ways that are

The E-Pay app is another step towards the digitalization of the province of Punjab. The app is launched by PITB under the guidelines of the Punjab Finance Department.
