Hello Winter, Time to Get Cozy

Winter is the perfect time to give off those cozy vibes in our home. When we live in the winter, winter will go off warmed. We want to make our home feel like we could come on over and snuggle up by the fire in a snowstorm with our family.

In winter, everyone wants a cozy space at home. I hope this blog gives you lots of inspiration and ideas for decorating your own home for the winter season. Once you have decided what direction to take your winter decoration ideas in, you will probably end up adding some fun winter activities to your list.

Entry Way

Startup with front entry way, as it is an area that one sees when enters into the house. So, start your mood by decorating up this area. Fluffy way road gives a touch of coziness to the front entry. It’s like snuggling with a polar bear when one sits down to put on his boots.

To decorate the entire main living space for winter, go with a cozy neutral figment.

Living Area

Decorate with a very neutral color palette because it is a very peaceful and calming time of the year. In a living room add lots of soft pillows and fuzzy blankets to add wintery coziness to the room. Rearrange your living room a little bit. Use a scarf to drape across the coffee table and use a candle of pine-scented, it will be just perfect because it makes the artificial pine branches smell like they’re real.

Use lots of natural elements in décor i.e. wood and pine branches are ongoing themes. Shaggy Rug helps muster everything together plus it adds texture to the room which always makes things cozier. Velvet Sofa of a nice rich color also adds some wonderful texture. Make use of poufs in winter, it will tie your room together effortlessly.

Dining Area

For a Dining room, use different linens and table décor. You can use a crisp white table cloth as a base for a beautiful centerpiece and the tartan ribbon is a perfect way to dress up the place settings.

Bed Room

Make your bedroom a place of cozy living with chunky blankets and lots of throw pillows. Cotton flannel, velvet flannel, or heavyweight Egyptian Cotton sheets are all warm alternatives to your average thin bedding in winter. Add some candlesticks on the table, as they add some height to the table in the bedroom. Add velvet pillows to the chairs in the room. Winter demands a lot of texture throughout the house.

Upgradation of Curtains

If you want to keep your home feeling cozy and warm, it's time to transit to a heavier fabric. Try adding some warm curtains to the space to section off open doors. In this way, you can keep the warm air in and the cold out.

Use softer lighting

By putting into effect softer lighting you can provide a warmer domain to relax in after works. The right lampshade can make all the difference between a home that feels cave-like in the winter and one that feels cozy and welcoming.
