Tax Relief for Investors

The national assembly has approved the finance bill 2020 with a big majority and with this approval, the real estate sector has been granted huge tax relief. This is a big breakthrough for investors and those who were aiming at investing in the real estate sector.

The income tax rates have been reduced for engineering services. The income that comes from real estate investment trusts has been excluded from income tax. The engineering services are now supposed to pay only 3% as income tax, as per the finance bill approved this year.

The government has also extended the tax exclusion from profits on the sale of immovable property to a development REIT scheme, with an aim of development of residential buildings till June 2023. 

As the government has introduced a big relief for the real estate sector and it is going to be proven a big step forward for investors and investment world.
