P.M Launched Roshan Apna Ghar Scheme

In the last week of August, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the revolutionary housing scheme for overseas Pakistanis namely, the Roshan Apna Ghar scheme. Under this plan, P.M has brought ease to the lifetime of Non-Residents of Pakistan. This initiative will help them build, purchase or renovate their dream properties within the legal housing sectors by financing them through their Roshan Digital Accounts.

P.M Imran Khan was optimistic about this revolutionary change because it will help to spice up the economy of the country. He said this game-changer will bring a serious investment within the country and therefore the ex-pats will help bridge the gap between imports and exports in supporting the economy. Me Meezan Bank, Bank Al-Falah, and Habib Bank were honored with special awards for their services towards the nation's economic investment. P.M assured that the investments being done through this scheme are going to be safe and secure.

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin also spoke on the occasion and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the depository financial institution of Pakistan (SBP) for increasing the RDA remittances to USD 2 billion. He said that the foremost significant achievement during this regard was uniting all the banks to work under one platform.

For his part, SBP Governor Raza Baqir said that the scheme would help ex-pats make safe land investments at standard and glued tax rates which they might now invest in programs supported by the banks or any project of their choosing.
