Property Valuation by FBR

Federal Board of Revenue has finalized the property valuation rates in all major cities of Pakistan for the fiscal year 2019-2020. This is an important factor which directly affects real estate activities as these official prices are used for tax purposes. The stress is upon taking action against Benami properties and transactions and taking the possession of any such properties as per law.

Changes in Property Valuation

FBR has proposed major changes in property valuation rates in 18 major cities in June 2019 in order to bring estimated values closer to the actual market value of properties. However, after thorough discussions with real estate experts across the Country, FBR has finalized the property valuation rates in all major cities of Pakistan, and these rates are applicable from July 2019.

List of those cities of Pkistan in which property valuation rates have been finalized property valuation are as follow:

Faisalabad

Gujrat

Gujranwala

Hyderabad

Islamabad

Jhang

Jhelum

Karachi

Lahore
